Global Learning Day

By Admin | In Category On Wednesday 27th September the Key Stage Two members of our Eco Council went to Stourport High School to take part in a Global Learning Day. We teamed up with five other schools and spent the whole day becoming Global Learning experts. We studied and tried out different dances from all around the world; learnt where our food comes from and how much CO2 it takes to get it to England; found out what goes into our toilets and bins and discovered the amazing potential of solar power and how it helps the world. We had a really great time, learnt loads and have come back to school with lots of inspiration that we can use to help improve the Global Learning going on in school. Harvest Service at St James Church

By Admin | In Category Our Harvest Service was held at St James Church on Sunday 1st October, 2017. It was lovely to see so many of our families and people from the community attend our wonderful service. Children from our school Read and took part in Open the Book. All children that attended sang beautifully and helped to present the Harvest in the service. As a school we collected non-perishables for Harvest and sent them to Maggs Day Care Centre in Worcester. They were truly grateful for all the donations of food. Thank you as always for your continued support and your generous donations

Happy Birthday Roald Dahl!

By Admin | In Category As part of Literacy work this term, Year 3 are learning about Roald Dahl and reading some of his books, including Georges Marvellous Medicine. The children were invited to take part in a Roald Dahl day on Wednesday 13th September, 2017 which was Roald Dahl's birthday! The children dressed up as their favourite Roald Dahl character, from his books and they all looked FANTASTIC! There were organised Roald Dahl activities for the children that were very engaging and the children had lots of fun! The children even brought in an empty plastic bottle from home and created their very own potion from Georges Marvellous Medicine! A fab day was had by all. Happy Birthday Roald Dahl! Please look out for more exciting pictures in our Year 3 Gallery....
