Year 3 Roald Dahl Day 12th September 2019
Year 3 are currently learning about the author Roald Dahl and the books he has written. Consequently, the children all arrived dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character on Thursday 12th September 2019! They looked amazing! So, a big thank you to all parents and carers who took the time and trouble to make this day a success. We also made a ‘Magic Medicine,’ as we are reading George’s Marvellous Medicine in class. We learnt about capacity, looking at the bottles the children brought in to make their potion and will be writing a potion recipe. The children really enjoyed making the ‘Magic Medicine’ and have taken some home.
So be warned they maybe showing off their magic and casting their spells on you later!
